For those who want to see exciting positive energy in today’s K-12 science education, attend an Arizona Science Teachers Association Fall Conference.  ASTA’s 2 day conference gives teachers from the Elem., Jr. High, High School levels a chance to be involved in some new cutting-edge programs made available by the interesting workshops.  These young educators receive generous materials which can be directly applied to their classroom instruction, improving their teaching skills.

My term as ASTA  President (1984-85) was exciting to me.  There was not enough hours in the day for me to complete my teaching schedule, coach Girls Fastpitch Softball, and to be a parent.
